Saturate any stains with a commercial stain remover and wash
in cold water. Add a small amount of bleach or borax if necessary. Dry on a
no-heat cycle or hang on a clothesline until about 90% dry. Iron while slightly
damp, or use steam/spray lightly with water, keeping the iron moving to avoid
scorching. Cotton may shrink slightly, but using no-heat cycles minimizes this
effect.
Wash in warm water with a cold rinse. Use a low to cold dry cycle to maintain wrinkle resistance. For a crisper, ironed appearance, use a warm press rather than hot.
